The Almanor Park Community Garden presents an exceptional opportunity for residents to utilize their gardening skills while contributing to the beautification and engagement of the Lake Almanor community. By hosting a garden plot for a nominal fee, helping cover water costs, individuals can cultivate their unique plants and showcase their talents, fostering a sense of pride and connection within the community. Enhancing the aesthetic appeal of this vibrant space is a stunning mural created by local artist Hillary Edwards, who also serves as the art teacher at Chester Jr/Sr High School. This beautiful artwork was made possible through a grant from Upstate California Creative Corps, adding a distinctive artistic feature that enriches the overall experience of the garden. The Almanor Rec & Park Disctrict remains committed to supporting local initiatives like the Almanor Park Community Garden, reinforcing our dedication to enhancing both the economy and quality of life in the Lake Almanor area.
