Work on the Almanor Rail Trail Project continues to move forward. Over the past few years, two Sierra Nevada Conservancy (SNC) Grants have funded the required Due Diligence work necessary to prepare the trail for improvements (see details below).

Join us for the 45th Annual 4th of July Chester Classic Fun Run where over 400 runners of all ages in a one mile run/walk right down Chester Main Street.  Starting at the Collins Pine Lawn and finishing at the historic Bidwell House where you will enjoy cooling off with grass, shade and refreshing watermelon.
