There's a New Website for Mile High 100 Road Bike Event See new pictures of beautiful sites around the Almanor Basin and get updated information on the event. Check it out at www.milehigh100.com
The Mile High 100 offers three rides to accommodate cyclists of all abilities; a century ride, metric century ride, and half-metric century ride - all of which include lakeside views of Lake Almanor.
Check Out the Dry Trail (snow is gone) The Collins Pine Trail is in shape for a spring walk. The 1/2 mile enhanced Loop 1 route is marked with signage to guide us. Two entrances to choose from. Meet friends at the north end of Chester Park or meet them behind the ARC building (Almanor Recreation Center) and tour the first loop which has been upgraded by our Trail Blazers volunteers.
